San Lorenzo Amateur Radio Club - CA

Product Details

The San Lorenzo Valley Amateur Radio Club is a ham radio club for amateurs in and around the San Lorenzo Valley, which is located between the cities of San Jose and Santa Cruz in the coastal mountain range of the Santa Cruz County, California.

The SLVARC callsign is WR6AOK, and they operate two repeaters which are on 147.120 MHz and 52.800 MHz as well as a packet digipeater.

The SLVARC Rag Chew Net meets weekly on Thursday evenings at 19:30 on the WR6AOK repeaters. They have a monthly meeting for members featuring a guest speaker or other theme, except in December when they hold their annual holiday dinner at a local restaurant.

The SLVARC also sponsors an annual ARRL Field Day event each June as well as various other events during the year including a summer picnic, which is usually in August.

The SLVARC welcomes new members and you can learn more about their Club by visiting their website.

Here is a link for the SLVARC membership application if you would like to join.
