The Kentucky Contest Group (KCG) was formed in 1991 to further the interests of ham radio operators in contesting. Many ham radio operators world-wide have discovered the thrill of contest-style operating — there’s nothing quite like it! The unique challenges of individual and team competition offer rewards unavailable elsewhere.

To qualify as a KCG member, members are asked to operate at least one contest per calendar year and submit your logs for credit to the KCG.

Currently, there are no annual dues. All members have access to the KCG email reflector and/or the Facebook site. There are no meeting requirements. We do have “get togethers” at various hamfest and announce those each year.
